Frequently asked questions

We often get asked similar questions by people interested in our retreats. Take a look at our FAQs which may help you further.

What fitness level do I need to attend one of your fitness retreats?

We cater for and encourage all abilities and fitness levels to attend our fitness retreats: We do this by demonstrating all exercises, then showing a regression of the exercise, or a progression for clients who are more advanced in their fitness.

Can I attend on my own?

Yes. One of our biggest selling points is the social aspect. people arrive as individuals and leave as life long friends. This is achieved by including team work in all aspects of our workouts as well as the best R and R time imaginable.

How much weight will I lose?

Our aim is not to see how much weight someone can lose in a single week, but to encourage you to look past this way of thinking. Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t about numbers and constantly looking down at the scales, it’s about finding something you enjoy doing, that isn’t a chore and that you can see yourself sticking to for the rest of your life. We spend our week trying our best to get this way of thinking to stick.

What sets apart your retreat from others?

We have our own masseuse and masseur, chef and other specialist people on each retreat. We work hard and play hard. It is the perfect balance! Our groups are big enough for you to have great networking and social opportunities, but small enough so you get the attention you deserve. Lastly, all of our retreats are coastal meaning we utilise the best of what water activities are on offer around us into our schedules.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Absolutely. Our meal plans have been written by professional athlete dietitian Alex Nolan. We cater for everyone from Vegetarians to Vegans, and include gluten free and high calorie plans to give you as much energy as possible to get you through those workouts!

What items should I pack?

Each person has their own specific needs but we advise the following:

– Trainers, at least a couple of pairs

– Enough workout clothes (shorts, joggers etc) to sustain the week long retreat as laundry facilities are limited

– Long sleeved warm fleece or shell top

– Good lightweight waterproof jacket and a warm one too

– Sun cream, hat and glasses

– Swimwear, swim towel and flip flops.

Please don’t forget your individual medical items.
